chapter 2 pg. 31

As David was walking down the rode he came across a pizza parlor/bar as he walked through the doors he could feel the thousands of eyes watching him carefully and wandering why he was here. then he came across a pool table to to his surprise he found a quarter he looked around to make sure no one was watching him and he took the money and started to walk to the door but a man came up behind him because he had watched David take the money. Mark asked David why he took the money but David just acted like he did not take anything but then Mark said "i know you took that quarter that was on the pool table" those men need it to play pool. Mark had David sit on a stool and started to ask David questions like " what is your name, were do you live, how old are you, and are you hungry and thirsty." All David could say was "FOOD" he was so hungry because the last time he eat was on Friday and that was 3 days ago.Mark laugh and walked to the back room to make a pizza then David saw a police officer and David thought that he was cought and would have to go back home to the place that abused him night and day, but then he thought that the police officer left but when he turned back around he was standing right there and he said come on help me find your mother. Then Mark came around and gave David the pizza. David did not know whether to be bad or ok with Mark because he had called the police on David. When they got to the police station the police officer called his father. When Davids dad got there they went into another room to talk. David wished he could here them talking. When they came into the room David was in the police officer said your dad said that you had run of because your mother did not let you ride your bike. David know knew that this was one of his moms story's so that i had no choice but to come back home so that she could abuse him again. David was furious because he did not even own a bike, he did not even know how to ride one. When they got into the car Davids dad said' Jesus H. Christ" why would you run away like that your mother is worried about you. But all David could think of was "worried" she was worried about me yea right. she is probably glad that i ran away.

A New Beginning

Today i started a new book called sport.it is about this boy who lives in a small apartment building with his dad. Sport's grandfather is very sick and only has about one more night to live. Sport's mom is a greedy woman who only thinks about money and how to spend it. So sports mother invited him to stay the night with his grandfather but he does not want to because he is scared of what might happen. So Sport's dad called them and says that sport will come over but only for an hour then he will come home. so will sport was getting ready to go over to his grandfathers house, sports dad's "new girlfriend" came over. sport threw on an old coat with a hole in the sleeve, and then they were off to their grandfathers house. when they got there they were greeted by the maid who took their coats and told them to sit down. while they were waiting there was an lawyer in the living room with them, and the lawyer stuck out her hand to greet them then the lawyer noticed the hole in sports sleeve, so he quickly pulled his hand away but the lawyer said that it was ok, then the lawyer started to ask sport all of these questions like "are you financially covered, or does your dad get paid enough money to keep the house and have food on the table, and are you happy with how you are living and who you are living with." and of course sport answered all "yeses" because he wanted to stay with his father and not live with anyone else. Sport does not like his mother because she is abusive like she smacks sport across the face or she is yelling at him and calling him mean names "ones that i am not going to repeat." and she is so greedy that sport does not want anything to do with her, in fact he said that he would live on the streets any day rather then live with his mother.SO sport's dad and his new girlfriend Sally went to the bar and had a few beers. and hung out. Back at the grandfathers house it is time for sport to go into the room that his grandfather is in and as he is walking into the room he does not know what to expect. The first thing that he see's is long carpets on the wall, and big tall windows over looking New York city, and it is big bright and beautiful in the room with a happy cheerful feeling, and then Sport see's this sad wrinkly look thing in a big bed, and when he looks closer he knows that it is his grandfather. oh how he was so sick looking with the small body frame and the skinny wrinkly hands and face, and those big blue eyes with deep dark wrinkles under his eyes, it was so hard for sport to stay there and not run away. but he managed and was ok. then the nurse came to sports side and said grab his hand and hold it tight because it will be the last you ever hold it again.as sport was holding that fragile hand he kept thinking that if he squeezed it any harder it would snap and disintegrate right in front of his eyes.then sports mom came back and said it was time to go but before she left she had called her dad a grieving hatred man who has no clue as to what is going on right now.That made sport furious but he said nothing at all for fear of getting smacked across the face. Sports dad came early to pick sport up when he got in the car Sally "sports dads new girlfriend" was still in the car and she was yelling over the roar of the engine. when they got home sport and his dad went upstairs and got changed and when they came back downs stairs Sally, Sport, And Sports dad all played games, watched movies and ate popcorn, just like a family should.And this made Sport a very happy person.

The End

at the end of the book they found Griff and Antonia in the woods and when the police were about to shoot Griff, Griff had shot himself because he knew that that was going to happen anyway. Back at the hospital Calli started to talk again but this time in full normal sentences, it turns out that Calli had stopped talking for four years because Griff had said "if you don't shut up i will make sure you never talk again" and this made Calli stop talking for four years.

Antonia

today Ben was telling Calli a story at the hospital to make her feel comfortable safe. then a doctor came in to make sure that they weren't dead. Then when Griff and Antonia were in the woods Antonia tried to make Griff calm down so that he would not harm her. and she kept telling him that when they checked the DNA test they would know that it was not Griff. and if they still think it was him then Antonia would say that Griff was with her when Calli disappeared.

The Weight Of Silence

Today what happened was Cali's mom had left her at the hospital so she could go home and grab some things for Cali and her son Ben, and when she got there and was about to go into the woods Martin had come out and said that someone was in the woods so they hid behind a bush. they started to talk about who could have done this to the kids and Martin thinks it was ether Ben or Griff, just then Griff came and grabbed the gun from Martin "Griff was the one who was gone most of the book" then he shot Martin in the head. after that Griff cared Cali's mom into the woods only to hear the sirens.

Deputy Sheriff Louis

what happened today in my book was when nurse Holly was cleaning Cali's feet Cali's mom was telling her about the day she was born and hoe Griff her dad had kept making the house great for a baby to live in and how Griff was being so helpful that she had sent him to the park with their son Ben. But Griff was worried that the baby would come but she had said the baby would not come for a couple more hours. so after they left she laid down in their bed, and it started to downpour and it was thundering and lightning outside, and but not ten more minutes the baby was about to come, and she was talking about how she was driving at a snails pace because of all the rain. After the story Cali just started to scram for no reason but when Cali's mom turned around she saw her son Ben all bloody and cut up because Griff had beat him up because he was so drunk. but after the doctor gave Cali sedative Cali then began to calm down and as she fell asleep Cali's mom thought that she was trying to say something, but then it was to late Cali had already fallen asleep.

Calli

Today during the book Calli had run away from to find her friend Petra. but as she was looking for her she had gotten lost in the woods. she was very tired and thirsty but she did not turn back because she was determined to find Petra. as she was walking she found this shiny thing on the ground and when she picked it up it was a neck less with a musical note charm. then her abusive dad had found Calli again and kept on threatening her and when he was about to hit Calli Ben came crashing through the bushes. Griff "is the dads name" was so surprised but he was so made at Ben that they got in a fight and Griff kicked Ben in the nose breaking it. I think that Griff was surprised as well because after that they went separate sides of the woods. Then Griff said Ben come on we have to get Petra down to the bottom of the bluff because she is hurt bad. then Ben yelled Calli go get help now. and so as Calli was getting help Ben was talking to Petra to make sure that Petra was going to be ok. but next time when Ben looked over his dad Griff was gone. and finally help was here and Ben was all bloody and gross and everyone was trying to make sure that Petra was going to be ok. when Calli gets to the hospital her and her mom are in the room with the doctor. the nurse tells them that Calli needs her feet bandaged. they have to give her a pill to relax her. when the nurse is done Ben finally arrives.And that is all i have read so far.

Martin

Today i read the same book but this time i was reading the chapter "Martin" Martin and his family own a butcher farm, but Martin doesn't like the though of killing animals so whenever it is time to butcher he would "sneak" of and go to the library. when Martin turned 16 his mom gave birth to a baby girl her name was Petra. And on His dads birthday he went to the store and bought his dads a 12inch screen t.v. And when his dad whispered "my boy" Martin said that was the best words he had ever heard until Petra said "da da" for the first time.

Short Discription Of Calli

I am reading Weight Of Silence and it is about this girl that can't talk. her father is a alcoholic and is drunk all the time. And because she can't talk she pee's in her pants at school because she does not ask the teacher to go to the bathroom, or she does not go to the bathroom when all the other kids go to the bathroom.
